The marquee

Ceremony, dinner and dancing under one roof

The marquee goes up on the flattest part of the meadow, facing west so your evening reception catches the sunset over the valley.

It seats up to 100 for a sit-down meal, with room for a dance floor and bar. Bring your own caterers, or choose from our list of local suppliers who know the site.

Questions

Good to know

How many guests can you take?

Up to 100 in the marquee for a seated meal. The Cabin, bell tents and yurt sleep the wedding party, and there are plenty of B&Bs and hotels nearby for everyone else.

Can we hold the ceremony on site?

Placeholder: Jim to confirm whether the site is licensed, or whether couples do a legal ceremony elsewhere and a celebrant-led ceremony on the hill.

Can we choose our own caterers?

Placeholder: Jim to confirm. Most outdoor venues allow your own caterers with a recommended list.

Is there a music curfew?

Placeholder: Jim to confirm the finish time for amplified music.

What happens if it rains?

Everything happens in the marquee, which has a hard floor and sides that can come down. The hill still looks wonderful in the rain.

Can we visit before booking?

Yes, please do. Send an enquiry and we'll arrange a time to walk the site with you.
